Spicy, Smoked Roasted Almonds
Ingredients
2 ½ Cups Almonds
1 Egg White
1 tbls Water
1 tsp Sea Salt
2 tsp Dried Chilli Flakes
1 tbls Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Caster Sugar
Cooking Method
Preheat oven to 180℃
In a large bowl whisk together the egg white and water until foamy, add the sea salt, dried chilli flakes, sugar and smoked paprika, mix well.
Add the almonds and mix well to coat in the egg white mixture.
Place the almonds on a single layer on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Place in the oven.
Bake the almonds for 25 minutes, during this time stir every 7-8 minutes. Allow to cool on the tray, store in an airtight container.
