Cuban Sandwich

Ingredients

100gm Roast Porchetta

100gm No Added Nitrite Ham

100gm Swiss Cheese

2-3 Dill Pickles

American Mustard

60gm Butter

2 Long, Soft Bread Rolls

Cooking Method

Melt the butter, cut the bread rolls in halves lengthways. Brush the bottom half of the bread roll with melted butter, flip over and repeat on the inside and then spread with American mustard.

Layer in the porchetta, then follow with the ham. Slice the pickles lengthways and layer over the ham, add the slices of Swiss cheese.

Brush the top of the bread roll on both sides with melted butter then place on top of the sandwich.

Place the sandwiches in a preheated sandwich press, cook until the meat is heated through, the cheese melted and the bread crispy. Remove from the press, cut in halves and serve.
